On Sept. 17, 1862, photographer Alexander Gardner and his assistants roamed the fields of Antietam documenting the human cost of war. Gardners photographs will be displayed as a group. Exhibit continues through Saturday, Dec. 1. Pry House Field Hospital Museum, 18906 Shepherdstown Pike, Sharpsburg. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through October; beginning in November, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Saturday, Dec. 1.
