Step back in time for a memorable evening of Doo Wop hits from the 50s and 60s.
Kenny Vance and The Planotones material is influenced by the music of
the 50s and 60s as exemplified by their signature song “Looking For An Echo.”
The style and sound of The Tokens is defined by Jay Siegel, whose tenor
lead and trademark falsetto have characterized all of The Tokens music.
Shirley Alston Reeves, co-founder and lead vocalist of The Shirelles, garnered international fame in the early 60s when the group placed six singles in the Top 10, including “Soldier Boy,” “Dedicated to the One I Love,” “Mama Said” and “Will You Love Me Tomorrow.”
Lenny Dell’s Demensions, a Doo Wop band that originated in New York and found popularity in the early 60s, first scored radio airplay as a result of New York DJ.
