Romantic Masterpieces of the 19th Century

The Shippensburg University-Community Orchestra presents two masterpieces of 19th century music: Robert Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A minor and Alexander Borodin’s Symphony No. 2 in B minor. The featured piano soloist will be Shippensburg’s own Dr. Margaret Lucia, a performer who has played solo and chamber music throughout the US, and in Europe, Japan, and Cuba. This music reminds us why audiences love 19th century Romantic orchestra repertoire: great melodies, rich harmonies, and exciting endings!
