Area chefs will prepare recipes from a cookbook by Lucie L. Snodgrass for this fundraiser for Washington County Free Library and Washington County Arts Council. Snodgrass will autograph copies of her cookbook. 6 to 8 p.m. Washington County Arts Council, 14 W. Washington St., Hagerstown. Reservations due by Monday, Sept. 6. $20 per person.
