The Monterey Pass Battlefield comes to life with the ghosts of its past!

The Monterey Pass Battlefield Association presents “Civil War Letters by Campfire.” Join us at 7:30 pm on Saturday, October 2nd, as the soldier’s accounts of the Battle of Monterey Pass come to life with dressed interpreters and living historians educating the public about this forgotten battle. Hear, in their own words, the voices of the invaders and the voices of the defenders, including a firsthand account of the ghost of Monterey Pass. Also told will be accounts of civilian life from the civilians who participated in the battle to those who lived through the hardships of a war-torn nation.
