’Tis the Season will examine many of the seasonal customs based on light, as well as winter holiday traditions, including Yule, greenery, Santa and the Christmas Star. 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Dec. 18. William Brish Planetarium at Washington County Board of Education, 820 Commonwealth Ave., Hagerstown. If schools are closed or dismissed early, the planetarium will be closed. $3; $2, students and children; free for senior citizens with a Gold Car from Washington County Public Schools. Family will pay a maximum of $10. Call 301-766-2800.
