Professor Keith Alexander, Director of Archives at the Robert C. Byrd Center for Legislative Studies and Coordinator of Shepherd University’s Historic Preservation Program, will present a lecture entitled “Town Run: Economic Heartbeat of Early Shepherdstown.” The presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m in the auditorium of the Robert C. Byrd Center for Legislative Studies Auditorium at Shepherd University, 213 N. King Street, Shepherdstown WV. Professor Alexander’s presentation is one in a series of presentations by local historians hosted by the Historic Shepherdstown Commission to celebrate Shepherdstown’s 250th Anniversary. This series is being presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Humanities Council, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Park in Shepherd University lot next-door behind Ikenberry Hall.
