Join Dave Weesner, area birding specialist and discover the joy of spring birding! The first session will introduce you to the spring birding basics focusing on: migration, silhouettes, identification, equipment and habitat. You will discover where and how to find birds in Washington County and Maryland with a focus on Spring Migration. This class will culminate in a local birding field trip to view habitat and identify these beautiful birds. Please bring binoculars and bird book, dress in layers and wear waterproof shoes.
