St. Mark's opens the new Fellowship Center on Sunday, February 26 at 9 AM. This two level multi-purpose building took a little over a year to complete and complements both the Church and the Parish Hall. It will serve as the location for the 9 AM service, one of three offered every Sunday, while the 7:45 and 11 AM services remain in the historic Church on the campus. On the first Sunday of Lent, church members will help carry items into the building during an opening procession, then gather in Dorsey Hall for their first worship service in the new space. Unused furnishings from the historic church have been retrieved from storage, including an old altar top which was incorporated into a new hand-made altar by a member. The accessible Fellowship Center is availabale for workshops, conferences, education, and community events.
