Founded in 1991 by John and Kay Kohler, Jr., Gateway Gallery Auction LLC was established to answer the need for professional auction services with a focus on product knowledge, showroom atmosphere and state-of-the art technology.

Since it’s inception, Gateway’s facility has grown from a single auction area to a 10,000 square foot facility with three separate showrooms and an on-site auction day café. In 1991, the staff consisted of 1 full-time and 2 part-time employees. Today, Gateway staff includes full time Daily Operations staff, full and part time Auction Day staff, as well as private consultants on an as needed basis.
 

Heather R. Fowler, Apprentice Auctioneer and Marketing Specialist. Heather is a 2008 graduate of Mendenhall School of Auctioneering and has been working for the company since 1998. She is responsible for the public relations, creative development, market research and branding for the company.
